This should be good with cherry or prune topping.&lt;br /&gt;Boiled also works, and no topping is needed if the filling is slightly sweetened.&lt;br /&gt;The Poles/Ukrainians/... also put the fruit (cherry, strawberry, plum, blueberry, ... ) on the inside; they thicken the filling with bread crumbs.
